Wiki pages just work, and onenote is like a Russian doll set, doesn’t update or sync properly and generally had awful UX so I do not want to use it, but MS decided to suddenly get rid of the simple and easy Wiki tool, so that’s why I have to stop working and rebuild documentation unnecessarily. Second, you answered about basic viewing permissions - that’s not the question, I’m asking how do I know if Im sharing something in EDIT mode? MS has terrible UI and - believe it or not, it’s actually possible to share something in edit mode. I just spent 6 months writing documentation and now I need to manually copy it to OneNote because MS didn’t make their wiki parsing tool work very well.
